{Diep and Jack}

Diep and Jack had one of the loveliest spring days I ever saw for their big day. Their wedding ceremony was held on a beautiful lawn in a garden at the Shady Canyon Golf Club in Orange County. Vibrant tones of purple and lavender flowers, lightly accented with greens complimented the existing plantings and contrasted beautifully with the lush lawn. Diep chose to carry an all purple and lavender bouquet of Blue Curiosa, Cool Water and Sterling roses, purple lisianthus, dark magenta dendrobium orchids and purple stock. The bride wanted a looser, garden-y style incorporated into the ceremony flowers, as well as her reception. Low silver bowls were filled with textural arrangements of hanging amaranthus, stock, lisianthus and roses. Her tall arrangements incorporated the same flowers, in a full design, and were placed on top of vintage inspired silver stands that really complimented the California/Spanish style architecture and details of the venue.

My Irish Eyes are Smiling!

OK---I may have just a bit of Irish in me but I love the color green and there could not be a better day to show some great inspiration images. There might even be a few shamrocks in there! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

{Cristalle & Edward}

The beautiful Cristalle and Edward recently tied the knot at The Vibiana in Downtown LA. Although the florals were more streamlined, the lighting and interesting layout really made a one-of-a kind event. Shirley of Fresh Events did a fantastic job of creating an intimate layout that could fit the 250 guests in such a large space as Vibiana. Long rectangle family tables and round tables were spread around the space and a white carpet "catwalk" split the space and lead straight to the dancefloor. Such a great entrance for the bride and groom!
The flower pallet was pink,pink, pink....we used pink hydrangea, carnation balls and Lydia tea roses in simple curvy white vases....simple, simple but when viewed as a whole, the space looked awesome!

An Intimate Home Wedding

We recently did some beautiful florals, tablescape and lighting for a beautiful "encore" bride...We decided to use our collection of vintage cut glass vases filled with lush textural flowers and foliages in an orange and purple color scheme. The table was accented with beautiful lighting from crystal chandeliers hung from the arbor over the table and a collection of her and our crystal candles sticks. Enjoy!
